Typical breakfast for me: 35 calorie wheat bread toasted, with about 1/2 a tablespoon of Better’n Peanut Butter (lower calorie peanut butter) and chia seeds sprinkled on top with a big glass of ice water!
I love broccoli. This is a simple garlic broccoli photo
Feels good to really workout again - I love nice weather. Now I have to work :( At least I’m pretty confident I will have the will power to resist all food from work! I have come so far in the past couple months, working was impossible to say not to food way back when. I’m proud of myself. And let’s take a minute to say I now weigh 138! No fucking way!!! 135 is my goal and I am SO close.
@1 year agovegan tortilla pizza with roasted veggies

Here is my dinner from tonight and guess what? This entire meal is only 100 calories! Yes… 100! This large plate of spaghetti is only 100 calories you ask? Yep! With Shirataki Tofu Noodles :) I ate the whole bag which is 2 servings (each serving is 20 calories) so that was 40, then I added about 45 calories of tomato pasta sauce and 2 teaspoons of grated Parmesan cheese.
Ugh I love Shirataki noodles: Gluten free, vegan, and guilt free :) Have a good day
@1 year ago with 4 notesVeggie & Egg Tower of Power! Sweet potato baked slices and egg with other yummy veggies!
Ok so this video is a little cringy and not put together very well buuut it has a very valid point! Watch it! It has to do with overestimating your portion sizes… Worth watching if you are at all interested in weight loss or nutrition. I need a food scale so bad.
Pomegranate, Fennel, Orange and Watercress Salad
Ok now that Summer is here I am CRAVING ice cream… and my ALL TIME FAVORITE ice cream is Cherry Garcia. So I’m trying to think of healthier ways to indulge this summer… this smoothie looks worth trying :)
A homemade granola I made, and me sitting in a tent enjoying it! So delicious and includes some great sources of protein: Omega Peanut Butter, Honey, Wheat Germ, Nuts, Flax Seeds, Craisins and Sunflower seeds! Can add chocolate chips and miscellaneous items to your liking. These are baked. So damn good and saves me lots of money not having to buy them from the Roastery for $3.50! Ask for recipe :)

Visited Madison yesterday, look forward to moving there! Madison treated me well: first of all I love the Willy Street area, spent a little time enjoying the sunshine in the local park (which is more like a garden actually). I have a feeling many sunny days will be spent reading and writing in that place. Also, the co-op there is amazing! It is way too cute and I know I will be spending all my money there. The second photo is the “Honey Bee Bar” which was seriously way too good! And for my second meal of the day a salad bar type thing from Whole Foods in Milwaukee on my way home.
@1 year agoOne site that has really aided me in my weight loss journey and more than anything has opened my eyes to the whole “Toxic body = toxic mind” thing is THIS site right here. It has made me realize my body is my temple and I should treat it with respect and there are just so many benefits.
I mean just cutting caffeine, fast food and for the most part all forms of processed food from my diet has helped incredibly with my wellness and well being. I used to suffer mild depression and felt lonely often but I can honestly tell you guys right now I am in a better place in my life than I ever have been and it is hard for me to even remember those feelings of sadness I once experienced. I am genuinely so happy and I know I have changes in eating patterns/etc to thank for it all. On top of that my skin is flawless now and I no longer get neck/back pains ever. Oh and of course I’ve lost a little over 30 pounds :) !!!
Some of you have asked me for some tips on losing weight in general and I have a few things to share with you to aid you in the process if you are trying to lose weight….
Try your best to eat healthy and be healthy today. No starving yourself ladies! No throwing up! No binging! Treat your body like a temple! I’m serious — healthy and happy is something to strive for, not just the weight loss.
