Healthy granola bars

Visited Madison yesterday, look forward to moving there! Madison treated me well: first of all I love the Willy Street area, spent a little time enjoying the sunshine in the local park (which is more like a garden actually). I have a feeling many sunny days will be spent reading and writing in that place. Also, the co-op there is amazing! It is way too cute and I know I will be spending all my money there. The second photo is the “Honey Bee Bar” which was seriously way too good! And for my second meal of the day a salad bar type thing from Whole Foods in Milwaukee on my way home.

Winter sore throat “tea”. In a jar, combine lemon slices, organic honey and sliced ginger. Close jar and put it in the fridge, it will form into a “jelly”. To serve: Spoon jelly into mug and pour boiling water over it. Store in fridge 2-3 months.
I’m pretty sure you all know how obsessed I am with homemade granola bars of all sorts…..
Homemade ricotta cheese ‘how to’ - try to eliminate as many processed foods as possible from your diet!
